What you can expect from our letting service

At home2u you can expect a personal service from a named Lettings Negotiator / Lettings Manager who will be responsible for letting your property. This will usually be the person who first visits your property. With this personal service you can rest assured that your property is being given individual attention. Please feel free to contact your Negotiator anytime during office hours (Monday to Thursday 9am-7pm, Friday 9am-6pm & Saturday 9am-5pm) to discuss how things are going. 

Once your property has been visited by your Lettings Negotiator and its rental value assessed, your property will be placed on UK’s most popular property rental websites, and in addition to our own popular website. We will also advertise your property in the local press (The Mercury Newspaper or South London Press). Of course your property will also appear in our window display and on our letting list. In addition to these effective marketing tools we have a constant stream of tenants registering with us in search of property to rent. 
We will informally interview prospective tenants and accompany them on all viewings to your property. Feedback will be sought from tenants during and after viewings and if necessary one of our negotiators will contact you to advise on any issues that could help get your property rented. 

Once we have found suitable tenants for your property we will collect the deposit on your behalf and references will be checked thoroughly. Your approval will be sought and if you are happy to go ahead a moving in date will be arranged. At your request we will provide and ensure the Tenancy Agreement is signed by all parties and tailor the agreement to suit your needs. Before the tenants move in we will collect the first months rent for you and if you wish future rent payments to be by direct debit we will set this up for you. When your new tenants move we will offer additional services for a small extra charge. For example you may wish us to do a Check in Report and the Inventory.
